Zani Productions has worked with the main shopping malls & department stores in Hong Kong: IFC, Pacific Place, Harbour City, Festival Walk, Sogo, Hysan Place & many more. We provide them original entertainment, specially designed for their promotion campaigns: it can be choreographies with dancers, juggling performances, magicians ‘acts, acrobats routines, or international acts brought to Hong Kong. It can also be roving entertainers walking around the mall to raise the festive mood. For the rebranding of Pacific Place, we arranged a week-long awareness campaign with Hong Kong mimes and performers dressed in white costumes. The VIP kick-off ceremony opened with an overseas dance & acrobatic act and 10 dancers. For the re-launch D-Park shopping mall, circus performers paraded through the mall and around the surrounding neighborhood on top of a double-decker bus decorated with balloons!

We have created several original stage shows for Hong Kong shopping malls: IFC, Pacific Place, Harbour City, City Plaza, Festival Walk… To celebrate its 20’s anniversary, Festival Walk asked us to create a show with a unique world-class act from Europe for its VIP ceremony. The show did run for a month afterward and turned into a Christmas operatic show. For the 30’s anniversary of Tuen Mun Town Plaza we choreographed a stage show with Brazilian dancers, jugglers, unicyclists, and circus performers around an elevated 3D LED stage. Our interactive shows, requiring the active participation of a few shoppers are in high demand from HK malls, They rely on audience participation and capture the attention of shoppers and passersby very quickly.

Christmas, Chinese New Year, Halloween & Easter are prime selling seasons for shopping malls in Hong Kong.
Shopping mall Christmas shows have been one of our specialties for many years. We have created them for most of the major shopping malls in Hong Kong. Sometimes they were involving one or two performers on stage. But most often they required several artists, from Hong Kong and from overseas, who are bringing a variety of their skills: acrobatic, dancing, singing, juggling, comedy, interaction, etc… For Chinese New Year, we bring top Chinese acrobatic troupes from mainland China to present their world-class acrobatic programs: face changing, contortion, pyramids, hoop-jumping, etc… Several of these troupes have won the best prizes in international circus competitions. Easter & Halloween are more suitable for roving entertainment with special Easter or Halloween characters. For the biggest Hong Kong mall, we have organized a huge Halloween street parade, which generated a lot of press coverage in Hong Kong.
