Our Fat Chef performer is a must for any food-related event in Hong Kong. This gourmet icon is very interactive and brings joy to the visitors. He can juggle with (fake) champagne bottles while going around the event.
He can also become a Giant Chef on stilts and stand tall in large crowds during fairs, food events, or store openings like the opening one we celebrated in Shanghai.

For a Department Store opening, Zani Productions was asked to create a line of special Fruits and Vegetable shapes costumes. Among several proposals, our client picked up a Watermelon, a Tomato, and an Eggplant. These costumes were designed and created in Hong Kong and shipped to Shanghai for the opening. Professional roller skaters from China did wear these gimmick costumes to roll around the new store and greet the first shoppers during one week. It made for a successful photo opportunity and was widely shared on social media! To promote a healthy food diet in Hong Kong, Mr. Fruity is an interactive entertainer juggling fruits and making special fruit shapes twisted balloons. A nice way to promote a healthy lifestyle with a comedic touch!

To complete the round fruits & vegetable characters, we have a bright pink cake that looks cute & yummy. It will pair well with the Chocolate Tower on stilts, which was created for a Hong Kong shopping mall promoting French chocolate week.
Another match with the chocolate Eiffel tower is our Candy Girl. This sweet character is so cute that shoppers and passersby can hardly resist taking pictures with her.
She is the ideal marketing assistant to give away small presents or candies at Hong Kong promotional events.

Hotel grooms & waiters Characters for events in Hong Kong
For hotel opening events in Hong Kong, we often dress the performers in the official uniform of the hotel. We did so for Novotel hotel opening in Tung Chung, but the performers were on stilts. This was to promote the highest revolving door entrance in Asia at the time. For the Hyatt Centric opening, we did organize a surprise flash mob with dancers dressed as regular waiters of the main restaurant.
Another approach was to recreate a hotel lobby for an acted promotion for Cables & Wireless in Hong Kong.
